Serving at the Mission, Going Into Our World
At the Mission Cincinnati, we take seriously Christ’s call to His followers to SERVE and GO. We seek to grow in the likeness of Christ who Himself came not to be served but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many. We see this servant-leadership of Jesus most powerfully embodied in the cross as well as the Upper Room where, on the night He was betrayed, Jesus knelt down and washed the feet of His followers. We seek to do the same for others in our midst as a church community, and then we seek to go out into our city and beyond, making disciples and serving the least, the last, and the lonely.
How We Serve
There are many ways to get involved in serving at The Mission. We discuss our full theology of service and mission, as well as personally help newcomers make connections and take next steps as a part of our Mission Pathways process. How We Go
As followers of Jesus, we pray “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” and then we seek to GO into our world, joining God in the ways He is revealing His Kingdom in our city, country, and world.
